25 Things Before 25: Number 4 Coffee Dates

This time we are going more simple, but sometimes complicated…

Coffee with 25 people I love!

Making Time

I feel like I say too often, “It’s been forever… What’s new?” or “Let’s get together soon and catch up!” and not follow through. So it is, also, a personal goal of mine to be more diligent on following through with these vague plans. I always say that if someone wants to see you, they will make time to do so. That being said, getting two adults with opposite schedules and kids and puppies and hobbies together is hard work. What I am saying is, that I am done thinking that if I can’t make it happen this week, it won’t happen. I will make time to make it happen.

Cheering on from Afar

I am not one of those people you don’t see or directly talk to for a year and all of a sudden we are strangers. I am the type of person who cheers my friends on from afar, because life does get chaotic but I am always wishing the best for my people. I think this is so important and a key part of a friendship, but I crave the presence and interaction. By adding this to my 25 Things Before 25, I am so excited to reconnect with my people I love so much and haven’t seen in a while!

I LOVE COFFEE

Those of you who know me, know that I love coffee and could drink it all day long from the time I wake up to the time I fall asleep. That being said, I decided coffee with someone I love rather than dinner or drinks or anything else because of the convenience–we could sit in the coffee shop for hours without being disruptive, it is kid friendly, and you can go at any time of the day. A lot of my close friends work as much as I do, have little kiddos, or have tight schedules, so I figured coffee is as convenient as it gets!

I am so excited to plan coffee dates and see some people I haven’t seen in a while! (especially now that colder weather will be coming)

What’s your favorite bestie date?

XO,

Sonja Hoff

What a cute idea! I’m a bit past 25 myself, but I love this challenge you are doing for yourself. I’m sure I could come up with something similar for myself!

  2. Yes making time is a struggle. I LOVE coffee also. Anytime of the day. Meeting a friend at a coffee shop is a great idea.

  3. I love coffee too, and we added a coffee bar to our home for that very reason.

This is a good idea. I could use such a goal too and keep in touch with more people especially after getting out of the job environment that I spent almost a decade in. I want to retain connections with the people I spoke to daily or weekly.

Wow! I love the blue coffee cup with ‘Just Believe’ written on it! Even though I haven’t met former classmates for years, I make an effort to at least wish closer ones happy birthday every year.
