25 Things Before 25: Number 8 Routine Workouts

Workout 25 times every month!

The Last 22 Weeks!

My mom and I have been consistently going to the gym every morning, Monday through Friday for the past 22 weeks. The first day, we went at 7 am and quickly learned it was a huge mistake as that has to be the busiest time at the gym! The next few weeks we went at 6 am and soon had to change it to 5 am because of my work schedule. Now we actually have to go at 4 am sometimes due to my crazy work schedule, but it is the best way to start the day. I feel like I am way more productive with my day when I start it off with a great work out.

Another Year of Routine

The main thing that I am so proud of us for is the consistency. By making this a part of my challenge, I am hoping to remain consistent in the pursuit of my physical fitness and strengthening. I have noticed such a difference in the way I feel every day and I can’t wait to see the difference another year will make.

Bringing Back Old Habits

I know this is something people stray away from, but some old habits are good habits. I was always involved in physical activities growing up and maintained an active lifestyle. For me, my healthy habits began to fade as life got more chaotic. I do always say that people will make time for things that are important to them no matter what. That being said, I am prioritizing my fitness once again and I am hanging on to this old habit.

Schedule

I realize there are only 4 weeks in a month and Monday through Friday is 5 days a week, so that will be 20 days in the gym. For the sake of this challenge, I will include my hikes, classes, or runs on the weekends as well, but not on the days that I go to the gym in the mornings.

I am excited to keep up on my fitness regimen and keep you all updated along the way!
